Skype Presentations

Invite a direct descendant of Booker T. Washington and Frederick Douglass into your classroom or group gathering via Skype!

Frederick Douglass was the foremost leader of the abolitionist movement that fought to end slavery within the United States in the decades prior to the Civil War. A brilliant speaker, Douglass was asked by the American Anti-Slavery Society to engage in a tour of lectures and so became recognized as one of America’s first great black orators. The Frederick Douglass Family Initiatives provides voices to speak out on social issues, human and civil rights, modern-day slavery and more through a program called, “History, Human Rights and the Power of One.”
